External Coaching Programs:
We partner with Playball and Little Rackets Tennis to offer specialised coaching for those interested. These programs help develop physical skills and teamwork in a fun and engaging environment.
Theatrical productions:
Our nursery boasts a stage where children perform twice a year, at Christmas and in the summer. These productions are a highlight on our calendar, providing a wonderful opportunity for children to showcase their talents and for families to enjoy their performances.
Annual visit from a mobile farm:
A highly anticipated event, our annual visit from a mobile farm sparks excitement and endless conversations among the children on the playground.
Local Park and Playground Trips:
Exploring local parks and playgrounds is a regular activity. Collecting sticks and observing nature are some of the simple joys we encourage during these outings.
Visits from Local Figures:
We invite local professionals such as doctors, police officers, and parents to talk with the children. These visits are educational and highly enjoyable, offering insights into various roles in the community.
Outdoor Play:
Our nursery is fortunate to have multiple outdoor spaces, allowing for abundant free play. These areas are integral to our approach, fostering exploration and physical activity.
Gardening:
Our allotment area is a favorite among the children. They gain firsthand experience in planting and growing, nurturing their understanding of nature and responsibility.
Convenient Term Dates and Timings
Our schedule aligns closely with Southwark primary schools,
ensuring convenient pick-ups, drop-offs, and holidays for families.
Montessori Approach to Preparation
We prepare our children for their Reception year by emphasizing independence and self-reliance, true to the Montessori method. Our children learn to sit attentively and take responsibility for themselves and their surroundings. They can independently put on their coats, hats, and shoes and help maintain the classroom by accessing activities and tidying up.
Dedicated Staff
Our staff members have been with us for many years, creating a family-like atmosphere where every child is treated with care and respect. Their long-term commitment ensures stability and a deep understanding of each child’s needs.
Flexible Scheduling and Payment Options
We offer flexible scheduling options, including half days and full days, to fit around your needs. Whether you require five full days a week or just a couple of days, we strive to accommodate your schedule.
We accept childcare vouchers and offer up to 15 hours per week under the government scheme for children aged three and above.
We serve families from Herne Hill, East Dulwich, Dulwich Village, West Dulwich, and Brixton.
We are conveniently located with the 37 bus stopping right outside our door. The P4 and 42 bus routes, and North Dulwich Station are just a 2-minute walk away.
